How to play Chess

Chess is a classic game that goes back ages. There are rules for moving every piece over the board. The goal is to capture the enemy’s king, by putting it in a position where you are ‘attacking’ it, and it can’t move anywhere else. Move the pieces around, capture your opponent's pieces, and move your pieces to the right places.

You have 8 pawns in your front line. These pawns can move forward one spot. You can take out the opponents by moving diagonally towards the opponent forward.
The rooks in the corner move vertically or horizontally in a straight line. The rooks do the opposite; they only move diagonally. The horses move in an L shape, so 2 forward and 1 left or right. The queen moves anywhere vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. And finally, the king moves one space anywhere around it.

Take out the opponents pieces, and capture their king! You can either play against the computer or grab a friend and try out the 1v1 mode. Have fun in The Chess.
