Vex 7 is an action-packed retro-style platform game. Leap and climb through deadly obstacle courses. Can you make it to the finish without dying? You’ll be crushed, slashed, stabbed, and drowned, but don’t give up! Practice makes perfect, and for skilled players the game holds lots of great achievements and bonus levels to unlock.
What’s included in Vex 7?
This action game has a number of different game elements to explore. From the main menu, jump onto the PLAY-button to enter the main game. You can also explore the Tower of Terror, work to unlock Hard Mode, and check what’s new in the Daily Challenges.
How do you play Vex 7?
You begin your adventure in the level map. Even this map takes the shape of a deadly platform maze full of traps and obstacles, and you’ll have to find the level 1 entry point to start in earnest. In the Vex games, each level is called an ‘Act’.
As you make your way through the level map, tutorial instructions will teach you how to move and interact with the Vex environment. Run, jump, cling to the walls, and use the trampolines to make your way to the large box marked ‘ACT 1’.
In each Act, your aim is to make your way to the green exit portal. Touch the red flags to turn them green. These are the checkpoints. If you die, you’ll respawn at the last checkpoint you activated.
And you will die. Lots and lots of times. From flying darts and ninja stars to rows of vicious spikes, buzzsaws, laser beams, and crumbling platforms, each level is jam-packed with lethal traps. Stay calm, respawn, and keep going!
How do you find and unlock Hard Mode in Vex 7?
When searching the level map, you’ll occasionally discover special levels tucked away in secret corners and guarded by purple spiky barriers. To remove the barrier, complete the three assignments shown at the start of the Normal Act to earn three stars. This will unlock the corresponding Hard Mode.
The Hard Mode levels feature many additional obstacles. It will take technique and insight to survive these extra tough runs. Can you do it?
Tower of Terror: What’s new in Vex 7?
New to this installment of Vex, is the Tower of Terror. In this continuous level, your aim is to descend through the many floors of this heavily guarded tower and earn as many Tower Coins as you can. The Tower has some unique features you won’t see anywhere else in the game. For example, you have the ability to shoot energy blasts to shatter glass walls and knock out the Tower Guards.
Check the Daily Challenges to see how and where you can pick up extra points and in-game rewards. These special assignments reset every 24 hours.
How to Unlock New Skins in Vex 7?
Customize your Vex stickman with up to 67 skins. In the main menu, select the ‘SKINS’ button to see which ones you can unlock. There are five collections to explore. Common skins are easier to unlock, while epic or legendary ones cost more Vex coins. The Mythic skins can only be unlocked using special coins collected in the Tower of Terror.
Where to Find Your Trophies in Vex 7?
You can collect up to 19 trophies by completing levels and special objectives. To view your trophies, head to the main menu (tap on the gear and select the main menu). Now jump onto the ‘TROPHIES’ button to enter your trophy room.
How many Vex games are there?
This is the seventh installment in the popular series. Vex has a loyal fanbase, and that’s hardly surprising. With a clean stickman character design paired with smooth animation and tricky levels, the game provides both intuitive and challenging gameplay. The maddeningly difficult obstacles in the extra-deadly Hard Mode are deeply satisfying to overcome, and will test the talents of even the most skilled and seasoned players.
