In this puzzle platform game, your task is to help the two elemental heroes find their way through the ancient and mysterious temple. To open the exit, you’ll have to collect all the gems. Fireboy and Watergirl have complementary powers, which makes them a real dream team.

To make it through each room of the temple alive, the heroes will have to work together closely. Press the buttons, pull the levers and flip the switches to open the doors for each other and activate the elevator platforms. Use the sliding buttons and mirror boxes to redirect the beams of light and activate the secret mechanisms of the Light Temple.

How do you win Fireboy and Watergirl 2: Light Temple?

At the end of each level, Fireboy has to arrive at the door with the red Mars symbol, and Watergirl must reach the door with the blue Venus symbol. On the level map, the shape of the diamonds representing the 40 stages of the game will show what type of level you’re dealing with. For example, a light beam puzzle, a lights out maze, or a timed challenge.

There is also a color code for level completion. If the diamond turns green, this means that all level objectives have been completed. If a diamond turns orange, it means that some but not all objectives have been completed. You can always replay completed levels to see if you can improve your rating.

Fireboy can walk through the pools of fire, but he can’t touch the water. He can collect the red gems. Watergirl can wade through the water, but she’ll die if she touches the lava.
