How do you play Jewels Blitz 4?

Remove the gems from the board in this matching game by lining up three or more of the same ones. You can move the gems by making them swap places. Select a gem and drag it to an adjacent slot to swap the two around. However, you’re only allowed to swap gems if this move results in a valid match. 

At the start of every level, you’ll be shown the level objective. This consists of the gems and/or any special objects you have to remove from the board and collect. During the round, you can keep count via the panel displayed at the top of the board. Here you can see which items you still need to gather.

Are there Bombs and Boosters in Jewels Blitz 4?

You can earn a number of different bombs and booster items in this game. For example, by lining up 4 matching gems, you’ll gain a special stone that can clear away a whole row or column. The orientation of the glowing ring around the stone shows the direction of the explosion. 

If you match up 5 or more of the same gems, you’ll receive a color bomb. Make this item swap places with any one gem in an adjacent slot, and all of the gems of that type will vanish from the board in one go. This is a great way to collect the gems you need.

You can also earn booster items that allow you to swap two random gems that are further apart, or items that allow you to clear away gems and obstacles. You can collect four different types of booster.

Jewels Blitz 4 Tips and Strategy: How do I score 3 stars in each level?

Once you complete the level objective, any turns you have left will be turned into bombs. The bombs are scattered across the board at random and will then explode. This often causes lots of cascades and will help earn the extra points you need to reach the three-star score.
