Home Makeover is a design and decoration game brimming with match-3 puzzles. You’ve bought an old, ramshackle house and it looks a mess. But with some effort, you can turn it into a gorgeous home. Earn furniture, wallpapers, paint, curtains and more by completing the tile-matching challenges.

How do you play Home Makeover?

In this bejeweled game, you can play tile-matching puzzles to repair and decorate the house. Start with the outdoor patio and turn this pile of planks into a beautiful veranda. For each puzzle you complete, you’ll earn a star. You can trade these stars for repairs or items to decorate your house.

The first couple of stars are free. You can use them to fix the floor and do some basic repairs. Next, you’ll have to earn more stars by completing puzzles. Tap a star and drag it to the highlighted circle to start your first puzzle. Between levels, you’ll return to the house so that you can spend your stars to make some progress on the renovation.

Once the veranda is done, you can move inside the house and get started on the next area. Can you fix and refurbish all the rooms?

How do you play the Home Makeover tile-matching puzzles?

The panel on the right side of the puzzle board will show you which items you need to collect. You can collect items by lining up three or more of the same ones. Tap an icon and drag it to a neighbouring slot to swap the two items around. Each move must result in a valid combination. In this game, you can also create a block of four tiles to make a combination.

Tap or drag the rockets and bombs to clear away a whole line or a large section of the board. The bottle rocket is special and very useful in a pinch: it will target one specific tile listed among your tasks.

Look carefully before you act, because you have a limited number of turns per level. Any turns you have left once you’ve completed your task list will be turned into bombs and scattered onto the board for bonus points.

How do you change the decor in your house in Home Makeover?

To unlock the design options for the different items and areas in the room, pick up the star you’ve earned and drag it toward one of the dotted circles. Three options will now appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap them to see what they look like, and select the one you like best. Once you’ve made your choice, tap the room to confirm it.
