KrisMas Mahjong
KrisMas Mahjong is a Four Rivers or mahjong connect game with a seasonal theme. In this thinking game, the player must link up the matching Christmas icons using a line that makes no more than two right-angled turns. Keep going until you’ve cleared away all the tiles.
How do you play KrisMas Mahjong?
This mahjong game is a Shisen-Sho puzzle, a tile-based game also known as mahjong connect. The aim is to find the matching pairs and link them together. Tiles that have been paired up will vanish, freeing up other tiles the player can then use to form new connections.
You can’t just pair up any identical tiles, however. To combine two tiles, there must be enough free space between them to draw a line consisting of no more than three straight segments. (In other words, a line that turns no more than two corners.) The line is not allowed to run through any other tiles, although tiles that are placed directly next to one another can also be linked together and removed.
KrisMas Mahjong is the Xmas edition of the popular tile-based puzzle game Kris Mahjong.
KrisMas Mahjong Tips - How Do the Levels Get More Difficult?
As you advance through the levels, new challenges will be introduced. For example, the tile set will come to include more and more different tile designs, making it harder to tell the Christmas bells, the candy canes, baubles, candles and snowflakes apart and to spot the matching pairs.
In the first levels, the tiles will remain stationary. But in later levels the tiles may also slide up and down, or left and right, to fill the gaps left by tiles you’ve removed. Each level is timed, and the further you get, the faster time will run out. However, matching tiles will add a little bit of time to the clock, allowing you to keep playing a little longer.
If you need a break, tap PAUSE to halt the game. You won’t be able to see the mahjong board (that would be cheating…). Instead, a picture of Santa will fill the screen.
