Square Bird is a one-button platform game in which you must guide the chicken to the barn. Lay eggs to raise the bird off the ground and avoid the obstacles. Unlock fever mode to destroy rocks and other barriers.

How to play Square Bird

The aim of this hypercasual arcade game is to get the chicken safely to the barn. Avoid collisions with the platforms and other obstacles blocking the path. You can lift the bird off the floor by laying a big stack of eggs for the chicken to sit on top of. This way, the eggs will stay behind while the chicken will slide onto and over the ledges.

Square Bird: Unlocking Fever Mode

With every tap, the bird will lay one egg. Don’t just build a giant stack of eggs and hope for the best though. Try to match the height of the eggs exactly to the next platform coming up. Three perfect landings will unlock the fever mode. With fever mode engaged, the chicken will shoot bullets and break through the obstacles ahead.

Collect coins to unlock different birds, bullets, and backgrounds. You can also tap on the infinity symbol to toggle between playing the game in Endless mode or in Levels mode.
