Northern Lights - the secret of the forest

While stepping inside a dark, mysterious forest during your vacation, you discover a beautiful island, hidden behind overgrowth. To survive, you must find the essentials such as food, water, and a shelter inside this adventure game. Start with matching three (or more) of the same elements and see what new item you may discover. You may run out of energy, as the island is too big to recover in one single day. Start a task overnight, leaving it idle, and see the next day which new adventure awaits in Northern Lights - the secret of the forest!

The gameplay of Northern Lights - the secret of the forest

Start with exploring the island. Your main goal is to please yourself with plenty of delicious fruit and help the friendly cat Kotofey with recovering the island that it once was. These tasks don't come easy, and you might need to dive further into the woods. Whenever you’ve provided yourself with food, the island unlocks a new part to discover. Start with removing the overgrowth. The overgrowth will provide you with plenty of resources, like planks, ores, and chests. “Hard working” means using loads of your energy. Give yourself a break and come back the next day to fill up your empty tank. Don’t forget to start a longer draining task before leaving, as the in-game timer continues ticking even when you’re gone.

Once you’ve cleared a bunch of overgrowth, you may explore more secrets of the forest. To discover new items, try merging three of the same elements. To receive an extra bonus item, try merging the same element more than five at once. If you want to receive more than two bonus items, you must merge more than nine items together. Can you find an acquaintance of Kotofey, help build the estate again, and clear the beautiful island full of life?
