How do you play Smarty Bubbles X-mas Edition?

Ho ho ho! In this festive puzzle game, you’ll have to shoot away the bubbles before they reach the bottom of the board. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see which bubble is currently loaded in your cannon, and which one is up next.

Left click and drag to make the crosshairs appear. This will help you aim your bubbles. Then, release to shoot. On touchscreen, tap and hold to aim, and then lift your finger to shoot.

Smarty Bubbles X-mas Edition is a single-level bubble shooter game. Once you’ve managed to clear away all the bubbles, you win the game. The round will end, and your points will be tallied to reveal your total score.

What are the gray bubbles in Smarty Bubbles X-mas Edition?

Lined up below the bubble cannon, you’ll see a number of gray bubbles at the start of the game. These orbs represent the number of ‘fouls’ you have left before a new row of bubbles drops. A ‘foul’ is any shot that does not result in a combination of three or more.

If you fail to create a match, the bubbles will stick to the cluster instead, and one of your gray bubbles will pop. When all of your spare fouls are gone, the next miss will cause more bubbles to push the cluster further down, clogging up the field and maybe even blocking your cannon’s line of fire.

When a new row of bubbles has appeared, your gray bubbles will be (partially) replenished and the cycle will start again.
