Crescent Solitaire
With new rules, this game is based off the popular Solitaire games genre. You have 8 founding piles in the middle of the screen. For each suit there are two piles, and you have to make piles for both top to bottom ranked and the other way around. This makes this version more difficult but more interesting at the same time. Can you finish all 8 piles in Crescent Solitaire? Play and find out!
How to play Crescent Solitaire
All the card will be dealt in a half ring around the 8 founding piles in the middle. There will be four kings and four aces in the middle. For the piles with the king you will have to work from top to bottom, so after the king the queen, the jack, the ten et cetera. For the other pile, you will start with the ace and go to two, three, four and so on.
Each pile on the outside has one card open. You can move the cards either to the founding piles or onto other piles. But you can only move cards that are either one rank higher or lower, and of the same suit, on top of each other. So you can put an eight of hearts on a nine of hearts or a seven of hearts. If you would rather play the normal rules of Solitaire, you can play Solitaire Classic, which is on our site as well!
What makes this game difficult is the different orders in which you have to order the founding piles. But it's definitely beatable if you use a good strategy.
You should stack multiple cards on top of each other, but still keep in mind if you are going to use those cards for the up or down pile. If you stack the cards in the order 6, 7 and 8 for example, then you can not use those cards for the down pile, because you need the order 8, 7, 6 for that. Think about which pile you want to use for which cards.
You can also use the hint and reshuffle button to help you if you are stuck. But they only have limited uses, so use them only when necessary! It is better to try out every move first, because you have unlimited moves.
