Pencil Rush is a skill game in which you have to collect colored pencils on the obstacle course. Reach the finish with as many pencils as possible and launch them at the canvas to create a series of colorful artworks. Fill the art gallery with your paintings to earn coins and upgrades.

How do you play Pencil Rush?

Pencil Rush is a coloring game like no other. You start each run with only a handful of pencils. Move along the obstacle course leaving a rainbow trail of colored lines. Along the way, you can pick up additional pencils by touching them.

The pencils you’ve collected will gradually grow shorter as you draw your way to the finish. If they run all the way down, they’ll vanish. So make sure to collect a big supply of them.

Bumping into the obstacles will also make you lose pencils. And any pencils you push over the edge of the floating path as you weave left and right will also be lost. Try to collect and preserve as many pencils as you can on your way to the finish.

When you reach the end of the path, you can use your pencils to reveal a series of brightly colored artworks. Shoot your pencils at the canvas to color in more and more of the painting. When the painting is finished, it will appear in your art gallery, where visitors can admire your work.

What kind of obstacles are there in Pencil Rush?

As you progress through this collecting game, different obstacles will appear on the road. Each presents a new challenge. Watch out for the moving crocodile staplers that will jump onto the path, for instance. And be sure to dodge falling cups, and books or statues that tip over as you approach them.

Sometimes, the falling books and snapping staplers can also create bridges, allowing you to cross gaps in the road. And cups that tip over might scatter some extra pencils across the road for you to pick up.

There are also glass barriers that you can destroy by shooting pencils at them. Cross the colored stripe on the road a little way before the barrier to fire a pencil of that color. If you don’t have a matching pencil, you won’t be able to break the barrier!

How to collect upgrades in Pencil Rush?

There are three main upgrades you can collect during your runs:

Pencil Count - This upgrade will permanently add one extra pencil to your set at the start of each run.

Pencil Strength - Your pencils will last longer during your runs, and will shrink less quickly.

Paint Power - Each pencil will contribute more to color when painting, allowing you to finish creating the artworks more quickly.

During your runs, you can also collect more powerful Epic Pencils. You’ll find them on the road. At the end of each run you get to decide whether you want to keep them or not.

In the gallery, you’ll also be able to unlock new frames for your paintings. At set intervals, you can also pick up extra money between runs, when the cash button in the button corner lights up.
