State.io - Conquer the World

State.io - Conquer the World is a strategy game that works a little bit like the board game Risk. Send your troops across the map and take over neutral as well as enemy states. Each territory will generate new troops, but don’t spread your army too thin!

How do you play State.io?

To take over other states, look at the number displayed in each territory. These represent the number of soldiers needed to occupy that territory. The gray territories are neutral and will not send out any armies of their own. The other colors are regions held by hostile forces.

Tap on a region you control and drag a line to the area you want to occupy. Your soldiers will march toward that area. Only one unit will stay behind. Once an area is under your control, it will generate new soldiers. This will help you grow your army more quickly, but spreading your soldiers too thinly across a great number of states will weaken your defenses.

The trick is to find the right balance between acquiring new territories and troops, while keeping enough soldiers behind to defend the areas already under your control. The same goes for your opponents, so watch their moves carefully and swoop in when their armies are in a weaker position.
