Worms Zone

Worms Zone is an addicting multiplayer game in which players battle for dominance in the worm arena. Try to become the biggest worm in the main arena, or play the timed mode to double your points and search for treasures.

How do you play Worms Zone?

At the start of each round of play you can pick up any rewards you have earned, and then enter battle. Choose which game mode you want to play. Some game modes will require certain items to unlock, such as apples. You’ll have to collect these first by playing in the main arena.

Here, your objective is to become the biggest worm. Slither around the multiplayer room and collect as many snacks as you can. You can eliminate enemies to collect extra food. Make your opponents bump face-first into your worm’s body. Watch out though, because your worm will die if you smack your face into another worm’s side.

In the arena, you’ll also come across magic potions that can boost your speed, enhance your range of vision, magnetically attract food, or provide some other useful booster. At the top of the screen, you’ll see which boosters are currently active.

By collecting points, apples, coins, and other treasures you can level up your worm, purchase extra lives, unlock extra game modes, new skins, and lots more! Each time you level up your worm, new options will become available. Check them out in the game’s main menu.

How do you boost your speed in Worm Zone?

Using a laptop or desktop computer, you can boost your speed by pressing the spacebar. You can also left click and hold. On touchscreen devices such as tablets and smartphones, tap and hold. Watch out, because boosting your speed to sprint will reduce your size and score!

What do the Worm Zone Potions do?

Keeping track of what each booster potion does can be tricky at first. We’ve lined them up here so that you know which ones to keep on the lookout for:

Blue potion - Makes the food you swallow worth 5 times as much.

Red and blue potion - As the classic magnet colors suggest, this potion acts like a magnet pulling food closer to your worm so you can hoover it all up.

Purple potion - This potion will allow you to see where other worms have just been killed. Speed over there to pick up the huge amounts of food dropped by defeated opponents.

Green potion - Makes your worm move faster

Green donut bottle - Makes your worm easier to control for improved maneuverability.

Gold potion - Allows you to temporarily see more of the arena.

How can I change my worm in Worm Zone?

After you complete a run and collect your rewards, you’ll be redirected to the main screen. Below the “To Battle!” Button, you’ll see a smaller button that reads “Worm Wardrobe”. Here, you can not only use coins to purchase new colors and faces, you can also upgrade your worm (see below).

Worm Zone Strategy - Best Tips and Tricks

Worm Wardrobe Upgrades - Save up coins (particularly through the treasure search game mode), and unlock permanent upgrades such as radar ability to detect food from defeated enemies, enhanced speed and maneuverability, points multipliers, an enhanced range of vision, and more! This way, you’ll have an edge over your opponents.

Smart Maneuvers - In this snake game, your worm can curl around and loop through its own body. This means you can always twist around and put your worm’s body between you and your enemies.

Keep an eye on the map - The map will show you where you are in the arena. Depending on which upgrades you’ve purchased, it will also show you other useful information about what’s going on outside of your direct view.
